Noah Receives Scholarship

Fourth grader, Noah Vick, was selected to receive a $1000.00 scholarship that is awarded annually by Alabama's Bonnie Plants. On Thursday, November 13, Noah was presented his award during a schoolwide assembly attended by Bonnie Plant representatives and Alabama's Secretary of Agriculture.

Bonnie Plants wants to make gardening fun and rewarding. That's why they give away cabbage plants to third graders throughout the U.S. every year. By planting one of the Bonnie Plants O.S. Cross or "oversized" cabbage plants, students can watch their plant grow to more than 40 pounds.
