Third Graders and the Gator

Mrs. Spradley's Class and L'il Gator

Mrs. Spradley's third grade class was selected as having the best overall essays in the Mutual of Omaha essay contest. As a result, the class was given the honor of riding on the Mutual of Omaha Wild Kingdom float in the Satsuma 50th Anniversary children's parade on Saturday, October 17th.

Peter Gros, the spokesman for Wild Kingdom and parade Grand Marshall rode with the class. Also riding with the class was a seven foot gator!
